2016 Georgetown Pub Run

November 6th, 2016

The 13th Annual Georgetown Pub Run has been scheduled for Friday December 2, 2016. This event is open to all runners in the Georgetown area that want meet other runners, have some fun and celebrate the season.

With the McGibbon closed this year we have made some changes. We will start as usual at the Shepherd’s Crook 86 Main Street South at 7:00 p.m. After a drink and group photo we will make our way to the Pickled Piper at the corner of Guelph Street and Rexway. From there it is up to Time Out Sports and Taps in Moore Park and following that we end up down the street at the St. George Pub where live music starts at 10:00. Total distance is about 5.5km.

Everyone is responsible for the cost of their own drinks. We are collecting $10 from each participant to pay for the cost of appetizers at the St. George. Surplus, if any, will go to a charity.

Stay safe. We will, as much as possible stick to side streets and sidewalks. Wear reflective gear, and lights. Please arrange a ride home.
